Leadership and perfection cannot be attained in a day; it requires a good amount of practice. At Genese-de-Strategie, members are constantly encouraged to chip in that extra effort required to perfecting their skills. This is done through structured meetings and programs conducted throughout the year on a bi-weekly basis in each of the following sub-groups.
- Consultancy: The Consulting group discusses real-life business cases within its group members, with an aim of forming a cumulative knowledge pool of what consulting is all about. Its discusses book cases on Strategic Consulting, Process Re-engineering and Specific Services like Financial Consulting, Human Resource Consulting etc.
- Business Strategy: The Business Strategy group discusses different business models which companies employ to strategically positioning themselves in the market. It deals with mergers and acquisitions, entering and exiting markets, launching new product lines or services, and setting up of efficient sales and distribution channels.
- Banking and Finance: The Banking and Finance group discusses issues such as fund raising, securities, shares and debentures, currency markets and business valuations. It strives to create a knowledge hub where students can learn interactively and help their career progress by connecting with trends in academia and industry. The group also encourages members to play online trading simulation games and upon maturity, invest money in stock exchanges like BSE & NSE.
- Game Theory: The Game Theory group discusses various topics like Auction Mechanisms, Business Dilemmas, Trade Conflicts and the impact of complete and partial information. It aims at educating its group members and in course of time, the general student body as well, about the applications of Game Theory in real life situations.
